After studying composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Marcus Sjöwall moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film music. He was soon selected to attend the prestigious ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop and won the Grand Prize of the Turner Classic Movies Young Film Composers Competition. He has now been working in the industry for over seventeen years. Recent composer credits include "Filthy Rich" (Fox Network), "The Poison Rose" (Amazon Prime), "A Very Vintage Christmas" (Lifetime Network), and "Dark Harvest" (Best Picture: Oregon Independent Film Festival).

Marcus has also orchestrated and arranged music for well over a hundred movies, tv shows, video games, albums, and live shows, including "Lost In Space", "Marvel's Agent Carter", "Shaft", "Invictus", and "UglyDolls".

When not in his studio, you might find Marcus hiking in the magnificent Southern California mountains or spending quality time with his family and friends in Sweden, where he was born and raised.
